When Nixon Met Elvis

It's also a made-for-cable movie I rented at the local video store. It's a surreal and occassionally poignant story about two media icons paradoxically trapped in isolation by their fame. Best moment comes when Elvis, in a Washington D.C. taxicab, complains about the music playing on the radio. "I worry about what my daughter is going to listen to," he says.

The song on the radio is the Jackson Five....
